Hope you are having the best summer yet! Our Bhaus Eight team members have been busy with work, but also recharging batteries and learning how to best serve our community by learning about global real estate strategies, while applying them to our little local Southbay market - exciting things to come to the Bhaus Eight community!

We encourage our team members to work hard, but also take time to refresh and reset. And so this summer, some of us traveled throughout Andalusia region in Southern Spain, in the Balearic Islands (Ibiza), and the Greek Islands as well as Athens. Keep an eye out for our lifestyle blog as we talk all things travel inspo coming soon!

On our property management side, we are so happy to get our landlord clients all set with their homes rented, and as such, would love to welcome our tenant families that have just joined us in Southern California! What’s happening?

As summer 2026 comes to a close, the South Bay real estate market is presenting buyers with some of the best opportunities we've seen in recent years. While Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, and Palos Verdes continue to enjoy strong long-term demand and limited inventory, buyers are benefiting from a more balanced market with greater negotiating power, more choices, and additional time to make thoughtful decisions.

Sellers who price strategically and present their homes beautifully continue to stand out, while buyers have a unique opportunity to secure exceptional coastal properties with greater confidence.

In today's market, preparation, strategy, and expert guidance are creating successful outcomes on both sides of the transaction.

The South Bay real estate market is also entering an exciting new chapter as the recent SpaceX wealth event adds another layer of demand to an already supply-constrained coastal market. With thousands of current and former SpaceX employees realizing significant equity gains, communities like Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, and Palos Verdes are seeing increased interest from buyers looking to stay close to the company's Hawthorne campus while enjoying the South Bay lifestyle.

While the full impact will unfold over the coming months, this influx of new wealth is expected to strengthen demand—particularly in the luxury segment—reinforcing the long-term value of premier coastal real estate. For buyers, acting sooner may provide an advantage before competition intensifies, while sellers with well-positioned homes are entering a market with renewed momentum. Experts expect the strongest effects to be concentrated in the South Bay, where limited inventory and exceptional lifestyle appeal have historically supported home values.

Summer Home Inspo…

Since we traveled this summer throughout Spain (think Marbella, Malaga, Seville, Granada, Ronda, Mijas, and Ibiza), we wanted to share all inspo we saw that can fit so well here in the southbay! Let’s start with some of the inspo from Ibiza:

Ibiza's effortless elegance is rooted in simplicity. Think warm natural stone, limewashed walls, handcrafted wood, woven lighting, and organic textures that blur the line between indoors and out. Tucked into lush Mediterranean gardens, serene plunge pools create intimate retreats designed for slowing down. It's a style that proves true luxury isn't about excess—it's about timeless materials, natural light, and spaces that invite you to breathe.

We felt so much at home, in these relaxed interiors, whose simplicity made them feel so luxurious.
