🌴 A day in the life of a realtor, while vacationing in Marbella..

☕️ I start my day with a latte from my new favorite café at the foot of the hills, and of course a warm freshly made croissant.
I make my way up to La Mairena. This is an area close to Malaga and Marbella, with elevated luxury living and panoramic sea views on the Costa del Sol. Properties are exclusive, with stunning views and natural charm. This is also an excellent place for investments, as the area is safe, beautiful, close to town, and near many beautiful golf courses.
🏞 When in La Mairena, you feel as if you are living in the clouds – with the 360-degree views stretching from the Sierra Nevada mountains across the Mediterranean to Gibraltar and the African coastline.
When up in this area, you suddenly get a sanctuary-like feeling. The area has a protected oak forest, cooler mountain air, and a clean environment far from the hustle and bustle of places like Puerto Banus, yet just minutes down the hill to the sandy beaches of Elviria.
🏌🏼♂️ If you cherish slow living, this would be a great place for you. This is a haven for someone looking for privacy, wellness, and tranquility away from the high-traffic Golden Mile of Costa del Sol. People are walking, on bikes, golfing, and staying active!
🏣 Here we are looking for the real estate sales office, I think they maybe out for lunch … it’ll be a while before it opens!
🏠 What types of properties can you find here? Well, you can have a villa, a penthouse, townhouses, or a high-end apartment. There are also plots available for custom-built homes with lots as big as 12,000 sqm and bigger.
💰The prices are also not too bad. You can buy a 2-bedroom apartment starting at around 500,000 euros, a townhome around 1,000,000 euros, and homes beyond that at several million euros depending on size and location/views.
While it feels far from the city, it is only a 15-minute drive from the area of Elviria, and if you don’t want to be driving down the hill, there are lots of activities and restaurants to enjoy. La Mairena area has top international schools, exquisite restaurants such as Kudu Bar and El Soto de Marbella Restaurant, or you can drive down to Nikki Beach Marbella and chiringuitos (the beach restaurants I am loving) such as Nosso Summer Club.
